sap certification

My sister is about to join the training course in ABAP, so just wanted to ask is there any certification exam required from SAP to get the certificate? thanks do reply, waiting.:)

Samir,

It should be your sister who should pose this question.

Anyway Certification is not a must but will be handy if one has experience.

To take up the certification itself,one needs to have 2 years of expereince in SAP-ABAP.

For a Fresher,I don't know how far a Certification will help.

SIEMENS is the only authorised one to provide certfication in India.But,we will gain more and more knowledge if we join a institute which provides training by a real-time professional.SIEMENS course will teach us just basics but a institute outside will teach what exactly the market needs.

But the thing is SIEMENS has the brand name which an outside institute doesn't have.

Now the ball is in your court or rather I say in your sisters court.
