Hello,

Can somebody help me with what certifications are suggested for an ABAPer. I am already certified in SAP ABAP, SAP ABAP on HANA and Fiori.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Regards,

Ameesa Sameen

Hello ameesa.sameen ,

SAP MDG certification is also a great choice for an ABAPer. Checkout the details for certification here and do follow the SAP MDG Community for more information.

Regards

Senthil.

Suggested by whom and for what purpose? It's not clear what you like to do and what is the goal of pursuing any certification. Many developers have no certifications at all (I've never had any, for example). So, once again, like in "Alice in Wonderland", if you don't know where you want to get to then it doesn't matter where you go.

In general, you can see a list of all valid certifications here: https://training.sap.com/certification/validity

If you simply search (Ctrl-F) for "SAP Certified Development" on that page, you'll find all items that are development related. I do not recommend using search bar on that website since it seems to return completely random and irrelevant result.

Also, recently revamped SAP Learning Hub is supposed to have some kind of "learning journeys" that should point to either certifications or just general courses or learnings that pertain to specific areas of expertise. I don't have a link for those but perhaps if you go to LH you might find them there.
