SAP ABAP - BDC SESSION METHOD IN BACKGROUND

I'm running BDC in Background through SM35 But it's giving error but I'm running the same in foreground it's working absolutely fine.

Can anybody help.

Examine "Authrizat." column of SM35 - whichever way you've created the BDC sessions you somehow managed to put "SY-UNAME" there. Obviously user SY-UNAME doesn't exist in your system, hence your problem.

  1. Process the erroneous sessions in foreground.
  2. Examine the program that creates BDC sessions - it should use a value of SY-UNAME field not "SY-UNAME" literal itself!

you were right it should be SY-UNAME not "SY-UNAME".
