Like for Sales order : we can get the flow of sales document ( sub , prec ) using table VBFA . Is there any table like this for Purchasing flow as well ?

How do we create schedule lines for a sales order or Po ? DOes the system creates it ? I have heard that delivery is created based on schedule lines ? How ?

Would appreciate if anyone could clarify the schedule lines and delivery for SO and PO and how it works ??

Hi,

Check the table EKBE(purchase document history) from which you can get all the material documents created for a PO.

And in the PO creationg there is a tab called Delivery Schedules for every item. You can create schedules overe there.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi

One helpful way would be to understand the tables in SO and PO and their relationship. In SE11 data dictionary, if you display i.e. EKKO and then look at the graphic mode button next to Information button, you can see relationships of various tables with this table and understands how schedule lines etc are connected to the header, item table etc.

Hope this is useful.
