Hi,

Besides using free memory id SAPLSTXD, is there any possible way to avoid loosing the header text maintained in the sales order header when sold to party is changed?

Check using the FM - READ_TEXT or check the Memory Id - SAPLTXTD000*, the text values are stored here. Use the Import Statement to the import the data to your internaltable/field.
