Sales Document Missing

Hi,

We created a sales order and now in SAP it says that the Sales Order 'XXXX' is unavailable. Thinking that the order might have been deleted I searched through the CDPOS and CDHDR table and see no records for it. What could be the reason for this order being unavailable? Is there a way I can figure out as to what happened to this sales order.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Alam.

Please check any unposted SD documents in T.code VFX3.

If no such documents are pending, there is no need to worry about further.

Also if you feel that any SD document itself not got updated in the database, then you see the log of update terminations in program RFVBER00.

Thanks

Seshu

Seshu,

Thanks for the reply.

The transaction VFX3 and the program RFVBER00 deals more with the Billing/Accounting documents. Is there a way I can check what happened to a Sales Order which does not exist/present in VBAK and I cannot see any info present for it in CDHDR/CDPOS?

Did you create it through a transaction or BAPI? If BAPI, did you run BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after?

Alam, you might try transaction ST22. It would show Orders that did not get created. SAP assigns a number first and then attempts to update the database. If the update failed you should see it with ST22.

Yes , i agree with the last answer. It might be a short dump and you can check your inbox or ST22. Check app log also(slg1).

Thanks for the reply. I actually did check ST22 and got nothing in there and I do not see anything in SLG1 either.

Any other ideas/thoughts.

Regards,

ALAM.

Did the person creating the document get express mail saying that the update was terminated?

Hi Alam,

As mentioned by Rob did you get a mail saying 'update terminated'.

Check this in SBWP.

If you have received one such mail, check with your basis person, he can solve it for you.

Thanks,

Arun
