RSTXT struc

Hi,

I have entered a long text in AS01 transaction. The field name is showing as RSTXT-TXTLINE. Is there any method to know in which table it is storing this text???

for long text to can read by using FM Read_TEXT , here u have to pass text ID , Objects etc.

format like this for mater long text.

In RUNTIME u have to pass TEXT NAME only ? That is

 <b>CompanyCode+ASSETNuber+AssetSub Number</b>

<b>Text Name PIH 0000022323560000

Language EN

Text ID XLTX Asset master general long text

Text object ANLA Asset master texts </b>

In AS01--->long text--->creat long text ---> when u click this one u will get Form Editor--->in that menu item --->goto--->Header ? there u will get all these data.

In RUNTIME u have to pass TEXT NAME only ? That is

 <b>CompanyCode+ASSETNuber+AssetSub Number
    concatenate 'Company' 'Asset' ' sunasset numer'       into tdname.
</b>

I have to enter 'description' in As01. Here I clicked on the icon next to it to enter the description. But i couldn't find the ID, Name and all. Please help.

when u clieck that change Icode ? have u got any <b>PopUps for LONG TEXT</b> ? If yes ? Click Create button for mater gen.long text --->then u will comes to Form text Editor ?Then MENU ITEM ->GOTO->Header ?

Hi,

Solution !!!!!!!!

When you enter your description in AS01, before you save press /h and this will take you to the debugging mode, then follow the path BREAKPOINT->BREAKPOINT AT -> Function Module (shift + f7) and enter READ_TEXT / SAVE_TEXT as the FM name, check teh text ID and other PARAMETERS
