It is the Request For Quotation(RFQ) in MM Module cycle.
Generally when somebody wants to purchase something, they ask for Quotations from different Vendors.
They are nothing but RFQ's.
Out of multiple RFQ's you will finalise one depending on the Terms and conditions quoted in it.
Only the authorised person can finalise this RFQ and approve it.
Once it is approved it has to be released by an authorised person.
IN MM module the apprioval and relesing of the Documents like RFQ, PR(purchase rquisition and Purchase order are very important and done by relese procedure.
