Hello
I have to migrate routing plan for 100000 rows of material master data, What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Direct Input (program RCPTRA02) or Bapi (BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE)?
Thanks in advance

Hi Ignacio Cobos
The Direct Input Method is always Suggestable for data Upload .
as it directly updates the Data base tables , which are actually will get update when you enter data manually in the standard transaction .
It skips all the screens there in the standard transaction , By which the performance will be great.
the only disadvantage is Some times the flat file may not supply all the mandatory fields of the Bapi Import parameters . Some times all flat file fields may not available in the Bapi import parametrs .
thanks
