RFC Server group

Functional people are complaining about the server group, when they run the background jobs with or with out parallel profile they don't see any difference. They are saying its problem in server group config. We defined the server group in RZ12, i don't see any problem there. Is there any thing we can check, that the server group is defined correctly. We are in 5.0 /LINUX 2.6.X. Any input is greately appreciated.

I just moved your thread from the MaxDB/liveCache DB forum to the general ABAP forum. Your question doesn't seem to be database related, that's why.

THX Roland. In parallel profile we defined for processors as 7, when we check in SM50 while running the job, its using 7 processors, but still we are not able to see any difference in background running time. Any input is greately appreciated.
