RFC_PINGE

Hello All,

Recently I was working on SAP .net  connector to establish communication between .Net application

and a SAP system.

I used FM RFC_Pinge in order to test my connection and it did the work nicely for me.

But the question I have is how its working, It don't have any code inside it.

Is it triggering some kind of evening in SAP system ?

Hi,

That's the second time this question has been asked in a week! Everyone must be busy pinging

RFC_PING has no code in it because it has nothing to do. You just make a call to it (at a remote destination) and check to see if the call results an error or not.

No error = successful ping.
