Hello all,
I had developed an interface program which populates an internal table with some data and I pass it to an RFC function module with destination 'XXXXXXXX', which is a middleware. I am pushing data from SAP, but middleware (webmethods) is not receiving that data. What could be the problem? Can someone help me in this regard?
CALL FUNCTION 'ZXXXXXXXX' "IN BACKGROUND TASK
DESTINATION 'WEBMETHODS' "AS SEPARATE UNIT
TABLES
output = i_tab.COMMIT WORK.
Thanks,

Webmethods does not have a RFC container. So you create a function module in SAP and open a service for it in Webmethods. Check whether the service is running in webmethods and also check your RFC destination whether it is pointing to the right instance.

Sudhir,
Can you tell me how to open an service for webmethods in SAP and check whether my RFC destination is pointing to the right instance?

The service for the RFC is opened in webmethods not in SAP which is done by Webmethods guy. Check the IP address of the server on which your webmethods is running and check the ipaddress mentioned in your RFC destination.

Is the destination system defined in SM59.
Please check it out.
What is the error!
I guess there could be one more problem.
Did u declare the Function module as Remote enabled!
Pls. mark if answer is helpful.
Cheers,
Bharat

to call a program from one server to another server
first we have to go to sm59 click on RFC connection and create here ww have to give RFC destination for example
RFC destinatio zswat
Connection type '3' R/3Connection type
give description
and at technical settings
give target system and other details
and at "save as" click the radio button
IP address
and at logon/security
trusted system as no
give logon details of that system which yu want to call that program
after that create a fuction module at attributes
click the radio button for "REMOTE-enabled module" and give some export and import parameters
after that call that function module in another server
yu will get the result.
