reverse the document using FB08

I have to reverse the document using FB 08.

But in that time internal system error occurred.

So kindly help me to do ...

Did you check if one of document lines was cleared (reverse clearing too) also check if accountings period are closed (reverse in another period)

Also check header of document, was this document created from FI or from another module, in second case cancel the original document (eg. material movement, invvoice...)

Hello,

If error occurs while reversing in FB08, u can try below options:

1. As Raymond suggested, check if period is closed.

2. Try using BAPI for reversing which may give you errors.

3. Also check for the long text of the error message, if any ocurs.

4. There is a problem with data in document.

Could you mention the error. If it was internal system error did you try to do the same again ?

Dear Kiruphagar,

You need to mention the error screen or the error message because this error can occur due to several reason as stated by Raymond and also due to any enhancement like BTE's.

Is this document is made in foreign currency ? 

Kindly post the error screen shot or the message.

Dear Kiruphagar,

My name is Rahul not Ragul .....!!!!!!!! If your language is not spanish ...

I have faced this error earlier in one of my project . Following actions need to be done:-

1. Check with basis for the error.

2. Due to Background Jobs

3. Due to Enhancement in tables, associated with BSEG. (Need to adjust table via se14 )

4. Is this is happening on production server ?

In your case i think is due to point 3. Check these table if any enhancement is made recently ?

What is the Internal Error you got?

Please share the screen shot that helps to solve.

Posting or Reversing a document from FB08 with can be done by several pre-process steps.

So give more information. Is that document is because of Wrong Impound or so from the Customer?

I mean are you reversing the document for wrong Impound.
