hi,

I have a report

i have released that report and i copied that report with another name after releasing the original report

i have activated the copied report also,now i want to release the request no for the copied report also but i am getting the message

copied report(zfiar0008_a) is inactive

but i have activated that

now i want to release the request no for the copied report,

pls help me

Hi Sivangalakshmi,

Go to your report in SE38 and click on Object list in the application tool bar or 'CtrlShiftF5'. Right click on your report on the left hand side of your screen and click on 'Active'. This will activate all the dependent objects in the report...

i.e. screens, gui, transactions, includes alll....

and release your report now.

Check from which client you have copied the program and activate the same in that client.

Hi Siva,

When u r copying the report it will ask u for the request number . In se09 go to that request number and check what are all the tasks inside that requset say report source code , report text elements. Check whether all the tasks are active or not and then release

Hi Lakshmi,

First check the status which shows on the tool bar whether it shiws as active or inactive. Then check the independent objects like include programs and text elements and any screens (means customozed screen).
