Hello,

I have a report which would be scheduled in background which has change date and year on the sel screen.

change date and year variants is maintained in TVARVC table. Report should form the select option as the last run date and current date. After every run TVARVC is updated with the last run date.I dont want to populate the select option programitically.

Theere are options when u save a variant in se38 like selection variable -(has 2 values in f4 - > tvarvc and dynamic date selection), Option, name of current variable.

Can any one help me in this regard.

Hi,

In your case, as you already discussed about the selection varaible you can use it in your variant. The selection varaible entries are maintained in table TVARV. In SM30 you can maintain these entries.

Just go to varaint, save it and check the selection varaible box in front of the required field. Once you will save it, you will be prompt for the name of the selection varaibles. Give the names and save it.

Make sure your entries are updated in the table TVARV once the report is executed. If you have any doubt please mention.
