Hi,
I think your problem is with the refreshing of the old variant values.
When you click the back button you make sure that you are clearing the selection screen elements and then when you select the new variant, you press enter and execute the report.
I guess this would solve your problem.

in ur program after displaying the report refresh ur final output table.
After this change test ur code and check whether it is still displaying the old output or not.

If you are using an internal output table with a header line, then do a CLEAR and a REFRESH of your output table before you select your data.
Also, how are you selecting your data?
If you are not clearing your output table and you are using SELECT .. FROM .. APPENDING output table. Then you will also have the problem. In this case just use an "INTO TABLE" instead.
+
SELECT result
FROM source
INTO|APPENDING target
[[FOR ALL ENTRIES IN itab] WHERE sql_cond]
[GROUP BY group] [HAVING group_cond]
[ORDER BY sort_key].

Hope This Helps
