Rename program in eclipse not possible

Hello

I want to rename a program in eclipse, but the option of renaming is not available for a program.

While renaming a class is possible.

Does anyone know the reason for this ?

Hello Koen,

you must duplicate a program a set new name to duplicated program.

I don't know the reason but my approach works.

is the proposal from Tom fine for you?

Or do you expect that all usages of the report in other coding (e.g. SUBMIT REPORT ...) are adopted?

The solution that Tom proposes, is sufficient.

I'm trying to get my ABAP colleagues motivated to use Eclipse.  They are really wedded to their R3 interface.

They asked me if they could rename a program, as they could in R3.

I think this minor drawback will not avert them (at least not all of them :-)) from eclipse.

With this work around, they can manage.
