Hello,

may I know how can I remove a particular row, say row 1, from itab such that the rows that come after row 1, say 2, 3, 4 would promote by 1 row, i.e., row 2 becomes row 1 and row 3 becomes row 2 and so on?

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

Anyi

You can use delete statement by passing the index.

delete i_itab index 1.

This will remove the first line of the internal table.

Hi Anyi,

When you use a delete statement for an internal table the rows will be promoted automatically ie if you use Delete itab index 1.Then the first record gets deleted and the second record in the internal table now becomes the first record and so on.Hope its clear.

Thanks
