Relation between document type and compnay code

hi ,

can any one tell me the relation between document type and company code . i do have one requirement in which i do have to show the document type in f4 help for the company code entered in the a selection option . i need the table where can i find the relationsip.

i have idea that docuemnt type are defiend in client level ,but i have to meet the requirement .so please clear my doubts

one more question if i take NRIV table is the field NRRANGENR same as document type ,SUBOBJECT same as comy code ?what does OBJECT show . urgent help

document type is company code independent,

only via the number range of the document type you have a connection to the CC

the table for doc. type is T003
