Hi All,
Is it possible to connect a Non SAP system to SAP System thro RFC, if yes can any one tell me the clear procedure to do it pls.

Hi Ganesh,
A Remote Function Call (RFC) is nothing but to call a function in one system (server)
from another system (client). To take an example, such communication can be between two
SAP systems or between an SAP and a non-SAP system. Remote Function Calls in SAP can be
implemented through the DESTINATION parameter on the CALL FUNCTION statement and through
configuration of a table named RFCDES.

can connect
using BAPI, or RFC enabled FMs
3. U will also have to see help on it.

Hi Hymavathi Oruganti,
Do we have to define the Non-SAP system as Logical system in the connection parameter in SM59 transaction?.
Can we Exchange data in XML format between this Non SAP and SAP system thro RFC, or any other FM has to be included?.
Can u pls help me on this.

we don't have to define
2. Sm59
is necessary when we need to communicate
FROM R/3 to anyother server.
