I have a doubt on variants..tha problem is...

After creating variants in development server..can we get the same variants in production server...?

these are genrerally not transported .

created specifically in that particular client because generally data vary from dev to production .

Use prgm RSTRANSP to transport the Variants.

Hi you have two options. Either add the variants manually in Prod system or add the variants to transport request as below,

For a transaction variant

R3TR STVI <name of transaction variant>,

For a screen variant

R3TR SCVI <name of screen variant>.

It's not a program. As he said - go to the transport request and edit it directly. R3TR STVI variant name.

Hi you can directly do this. Go to menu path goto -> Variants. Declare your variant. Then go to menu path Variants-> Transport. It will prompt you to enter a Change Request number, do the same. Your variants will be attahced to the TR which you can transport to prod.
