Regarding VA01

i created my own module pool program containing 3 fields:sales order number, delivery quantity , picking quantity. when i create a sales order in VA01, i'm getting a sales order number. i created the delivery order also in VA01. when i enter the sales order number in my module pool program, the delivery quantity and picking quantity took automatically from VA01 and displayed in the desired field of module pool program. But i understood that that much delivery is not possible. So i've to edit the delivery quantity and this should be reflected in VA01 also. How its possible? please respond

and still i dont get what you mean.

if you have an order quantity of lets say 10, and then just deliver 5, where is the problem? if i understand you correct you want to change the order quantity to 5 in this case?

If thats what you want i would throw in a VETO, DO NOT DO IT, rather have a talk with your business consultant.

Hello Divya,

I can understand from your question that u need to edit the VA01 actually. If thats true then I suggest before doing it cosult with someone superior, as this is standard table and the Z one.

If thats what not u meant to ask then I really dont see any problem, if quantity is 100 and u are picking qty is 50 then the remaining u can calculate and show in Module P right?

Please rephrase the question.

get your delivered quantity for the Sales Document/Item from table VBFA....Do NOT change the details in VA01, because VA01 works right and you're about to create a full-blown disaster for your employer/client.
