Regarding upgrade project

Dear Friends;

I have been assigned to upgrade project and this upgrade is from 4.6B to ECC6.0

I don't know anything about upgrade project. Can u please guide me what care i should take while on project??. Anything u know about this upgrade..your experience.. the problem u faced on upgrade , can u share your knowledge with me as this will be useful for me

Run transaction SPAU and deal with program changes.

Test all basic SAP functionality - especially critical processes.

Test all custom development.
