Regarding transport request

Hi,

I have created a program and saved under a transport request number after that i have activated.When i go to SE10 and i expand that transport request number node then my program is displayed as object for that transport request number.

But my problem is when i double click on that program name(in SE10) screen does not goes to that program source code(to SE38).

Again i have checked version management for that program in version managment here also no version is maintained for that transport request.

Could you please let me know what is the problem.

Hi Kumar,

Your Request is new one or Old One.

If it is Old one means you created some other programs Using this Request. So some of the programs are inactive.

Thats why you can't release the Request.

Activate all the programs and try again.

Hi,

Just goto SE38 in the change mode then Actiate the Program ...... then the Program will avilable in SE10 .

Versions will not transported to other systems,

Select your task and

Goto Menu options,

Request/Task->Overall Check->Syntax check

Request/Task->Overall Check->Consistency check

Request/Task->Overall Check->Inactive objects.

Try this.
