hi friends,

i am using claf_classification_of_objects function module to get the properties of a material batch. it generates the weight n width of the material of a particular batch ..problem i need to use the both the fields in further mathematical caluculations but the FM is generating them as char(30) type..is there any wat that i can convert them to nukmeric type
