Hi guys,

Using SE91, I am trying to translate message text from EN to DE.

so while translation it gives Status message 'EMPTY OBJECT LIST'.

so we could not create translated message. However others which are having translation can be edited.

Please suggest us whats the cause for this.

Regards

Hi,

Goto transaction SE63 - > Translation -> Short Text -> Messages -> Message class or Mesages.

Hi Prashant,

That only allows translate the description of the message class, not the messages themselves.

You can translate them one by one on SE91.

Question:

Is there a way to translate then not one by one, but all of them in one single step? (like text symbols from ABAP programs)??.

José Gabriel.

Hi ,

Yes there is a way..

u go to se91 , give the message class and not the message number..

Now when you try to translate, it will allow to translate all the text..so you need go back again to give the mesage number.

After you translate the text, you go to the tr and delete the objects(messages ) which are not a part of your translation.

I have done like this.

Reward if helpful,

Regards,

Ramya

Hi Ramya,

That is exactly what I mean, you have to go back and forward for each message, that is the same that go "one by one", you lose much time doing this way.

When I talked abot "like text symbols..." you don't need go back anf forward: you have a "list" of all the texts that you need to translate.

José Gabriel.
