Regarding Enhancements

Hi Group,

I am using Implicit Enhancements in one of the include in a Std Report.

And here once I create an enhancement, its shows a dialog box asking to give an Enhancement id and its text as desciption.

And a Composite Enhnacement field, if already there we can use it and if not we need to create a new one and then assign our enhancement to this Composite Enhancement.

After we click the tick mark in that window it asks for a SAP package and then we save it. After that it asks for the request number, I am using the request which is already assigned to this report. After assigning the request it is going into short dump, saying Message text is initial....

Could you guide me up on this process??

I think that the problem might be when I give the enhancement id, here should I need to follow any naming standards, is that the reason for the shortdump?

Please guide me up on this....

I already followed all the links available in SDN.

But the problem in my case is it is going for a short dump. Did anyone face such a situation, if yes, please guide me on this.\

Hi Kumar,

I have the same problem. When I try to make a enhancement in standard code, the system throws a short dump. Did you solved the problem ? if yes, can you explain.... please...
