Hi all,

Please tell me what is the difference between CTS Request no. and CTS Task no.

what is the use of task no. and request no?

Suresh,

For one transport request we can create number of tasks.Suppose a user developed one object and created TR.If any other user changes the object the changes will store in different task for the same TR.Hope u got the answer.

Yes. When you save particular object it will creates Task under the transport request. When you have to release the transport request, you have to first release the task. Objects will get placed under task like report,table,domain,...allll.
