regarding certification

hi all

please tell me, i am working as a jr. software engg.(on SAP-ABAP) in one IT company,

i have no certification on ABAP, Is it essential for me to take certifcation on ABAP,

or client can give project to our company according to my certification

How much earliest time i will get certificate on ABAP

Pls tell me it is urgent for me.

Hi Brij,

Though not necessary, certification definitely adds a lot of value to u as well as your company for having you. Typically if u go to siemens for cert, it takes a 25 day course (full time) and an exam on the 26th day. U can give 3 attempts failing which you will have to re-enroll to the course.

Hi Anji,

Myself Jemil Jacob, has 1.5 yrs of experience in SAP ABAP development.I m seriously considering certification but my knowledge about different SAP modules and certification is limited.Please advice me on choosing the right module for taking certification.Any help is much appreciated.

Certification is not important .But if u go for certification,it is added advantage to U as well as ur company .

For certification U have to go to SIMENS : The only authorised consultant .

It takes around 25 days class .If u r already trained candidate ,u can just write the exam. Whn u go through the company to write : UR fees will be reduced .
