Hi All,

I have added a field to already existing Z table and I need to regenrate the table maintainance generator for that. When I made an attempt to delete the TMG its asking the following message.

Delete Objects:

1. Maitainance Mod

2. Entry in table/view directory

3. Delete Overview

4. Maintainance Object Description.

My question is :

If 2nd option(Entry in table/view directory) is also selected then will i loose the previous entries maintained in the table.

Thanks & Regards,

Krishna Kishore .K

hi,

i think you need not delete TMG just goto SE14 give table name and edit.

after that select activate and adjust database

then pop up comes click on yes.

sreelakshmi.

Hi Sreelakshmi,

Also I went to Tcode se14 and adjusted the same. But the thing is previously they were maintaning the TMG and they were able to view and change the fields values. As i have added a new field to the table, this should also need to be reflected in the sm30.

Thanks & Regards,

Kishore

Hi Krishna,

You can go ahead and delete the TMG and recreate the same. Just make sure that you don't have any custom codings in TMG events.
