Hi,

When I am generating Idoc,it is giving me error 29 and as partner profile is not active. I dont know what to do..can any one help me in this regard.

Hi,

can you give a more detailed description of the error message? What message type do you use? What IDoc type? What entries do you have maintained in the partner profile?

Thanks for the reply, The Idoc type hrot_usm and message type is hrot_um. When I generate the IDoc, it says Error in ALE service, error number is 29 and Partner Profile is not active . I create Partner Profile as FILEPORT and defined outbound parameter for that.WHen I run PU12 , the IDoc is generating with error.

Can any one help me.

Have you checked the "classification" tab on the partner profile? It should have the value of 'A' in the partner status field to indicate that it is active.

Hi,

have a look at the status record of your faulty IDoc.

Do you only have the status sequence:

1 IDoc created

29 Error in ALE Service

--> Entry in Outbound table nor found

or is there another faulty status before 29 like 26 (example)?

1 IDoc created

26 Error during syntax check of IDoc (outbound)

> EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (segment cannot be identified) < or something like that

29 Error in ALE Service

--> Entry in Outbound table nor found

Hi I am getting error 26, when I am trying generate an IDOC to send material to another R/3 system. The error message is "error during syntax check of IDOC (outbound)

".

Please help me rectify this error
