Reg Field exit

Hi All,

I have gone through the field exit details provided in the forum.

Could you please let me know my understanding is right?

The only purpose of the field exit is to change the description of a particular field/fileds in the transaction/transactions.

It is just the enhancement of the data element.

I hope we can not do any validations in the filed exits.

Kindly let me know if there are any other uses of the field exits.

Hi.....

1. After assigning the field exit to a change request, its status will change to u2018Activeu2019 and it will be triggered automatically on the appropriate screen(s).

2. In order to activate the field exit the profile parameter abap/fieldexit = YES must be set on all application servers
