ABAP Runtime system determines when to trigger which events.

There are certain events that can be controlled by the user For AT USER COMMAND.

Cheers,

Rohit,

We have 2 types of events.

1.System invoking 2. User invoking.

1.System invoking events : are all standard events

Ex: INITIALIZATION ,AT SLECTION-SCREN..etc.

These events can be calle by only Application server(Runtime Environment)

2.User invoking events : are called by us.

Ex: Subroutines ,Procedures.

hi,

When you run an executable program, the program flow is controlled by the external events in the ABAP runtime environment.

If you want to handle an event, you must define the corresponding event block in your program. If you do not define the event block, there is no reaction to the event.

If propgram is of type 1, M, F, or S; then LOAD-OF-PROGRAM is trigerred first and then INITIALIZATION

AT Selection-screen output.

At selection-screen.

start-of-selection.

Get. (using ldbs)

When write statement is occurs for the first time, top-of-page is triggered.

end-of-selection.

when last line of the page is printed, end-of-page is triggered followed by top-of-page.

Hi

EVENTS will trigger based on the action what you do

you can write the EVENTS blocks in any order but they trigger only when coresponding actions triggers

see this example code where i writing t he events in diffrent order like initialization at last but then also it triggers initialization 1st
