refresh value on the screen in dialog programming

Hello all,

I have a dialog screen and i have some output values on this screen. I take these values from a Z* table.

I want to check Z* table if the values are changed and i want to refresh my screen in every 2-3 seconds with new values.

And i want the other functions are still usable on the screen during this control.

I tried starting new task, but it doesnt allow importing so i couldnt figure out how to hande it.

You can use a Timer for refreshing the screen contents.

Class name: CL_GUI_TIMER

You can set the timer for 3 seconds and an event will be triggered, in which you can handle the new selection from Z* table and update that in screen.

An example for doing the same in a ALV is shown below.
