Recording transaction

Hi friends,

I need your help in recording .

in the transaction they defined some custom fields, when i am running in foreground i am able to see the fields, but in recording mode the custom defined fields are not visible.

help me on proceeding furthur.

I don't think in recording mode you will be able to see the custom fields.

You might want to see if there is a BAPI, where the BAPI gives a option to fill the custom fields.

U should be able to see the custom fields as well in the recording .

Hi Kiran,

Had Faced the same problem while Recording XD01, actually the fields are present, but not in the same positions as in the standard Transactions, Just verify all the fields when you are in recording mode, i am sure you will find the custom fields also there in recording mode.

No Santosh, still i am not able to see the fields, i am searching in transaction IQ01.

Hi,

Have u added fields in the initial screen or in the preceding screens? once do the normal recording and come back, check out whether the custom fields are displayed in the list, if your fields are not displayed make one field mandatory in your screen exit and try out recording, i think it works, if possible can u send me the screen shots in recording and normal my id is [email protected].

hi friends,

i got the solution. when u r recording the transaction select the not for batch input check box in the recording popup. then it will show the all custom fields.

that means custom fields are not updatable in batch input mode, you can do only in call transaction.
