Reason for Table Partially Active

HI experts,

I am working with table FKKVK with APPEND structures.This table become partially active after sometime.

I dont know the resons that why this table become partially active.

I have checked that :-

1) All the append structures are also active.

2) all check tables are also ACTIVE.

3) all the domains all also ACTIVE.

Please suggest the reason that why FKKVK table become PARTIALLY ACTIVE.

Hi Sampat,

You have to adjust the database.

Goto Utilitiies>Database Object>Database Utility--> Activate and adjust database.

It will activate and adjust the datase.

You can do this directly from se14 also.

But I need the reason that why this table become partially inactive.

Hi ,

Since the table structure was changed from the standard. Yet you have checked independently all are active. But when you check all the combined changes it will show partially inactive to make the table to behave normally we use database table utility to adjust the structure accordingly.

Hi Rajan.

Do you mean to say that inorder to activate the table we have to active it both at se11 as well as se14...??

& we need to adjust the structure from se14 to make it fully active..??

Hi,

Tough you have activated all the objects separately, your table is changed now by a append structure which means that you will have to adjust the table accordingly to activate it. So to activate your table follow the below process,

Goto your table -? Utilities -> database utility -> Adjust & activate. this will make sure that your table is completely active and all the changes are in effect.
