Read/Write files in ABAP on CLOUD

Hello Experts,

We are migrating our partner addons from classic ABAP to cloud ABAP. 

In the product , we are getting files / Placing the extracts in cloud SFTP. For these functionalities, we are using CL_HTTP_CLIENT related classes and methods. 
In ABAP on cloud, we couldn't see any released API or similar APIs to read/write the files either from SFTP or application server. 
 
Are there any new processes involved for Read/Write the files in cloud ABAP.
