read data from biometric machine

He friends,

We have a requirement to read clock in/out time data from biometric time machine . Currently we download data in MS Access database and upload it into sap by BDC .Is it Posible to read data from biometric time machine directly in sap z table .

Hello,

One way could be converting your data in HEX format, then retriving it. However to get into SAP system direclty might not be possible, may be BASIS people could help you on this.

Need to know the process of conversion of biometric data to sap....A third party software was involved in this process which converts the data to text format....how it can be configured to sap data....Please help.....

Hi,

Yes ofcourse you can do this.

But for this you have to create a RFC using SE37.
