Query - text name chnage

Hi I have a query wherein tables mast and stpo tables are used to extract data in the output.

In teh query output we are pulling in Material number for which I have used the function to get the material number along with its text . SO in the output I get both . The problem is that the heading for material number as well as the material text comes same as Material number and Text:material number. This second one for the descripition is coming automatically which I would liek to change to something different. Is there a possibility to change the description of this heading . I went into the query in teh change mode and looked fo rit but its greyed out and dosent give me otion to change.

Can anyone pls suggest how to go abt this.

Exactly, you should create a window on both pages on the same place with the same logic. The window type must be CONST.

Go in INFOSET QUERY (SQ01) and do the change there.

Thats what I said I went to SQ01 and when I looked at the field , its greyed out , theer is no option of it to chnage , while the material number has teh option to change the description . I have put the function to show number and text in out put so it automatically takes the same descrotion which already exists. Is theer a way to change that description.

If its the heaidng of the field , then you can goto ENVIRONMENT->INFOGROUP and select your infogroup.

Now click on the CHNAGE and select the field there. YOu will get a window on the Right hand lower half with a button USE DEFAULT and COPY...

Click USE DEFAULT.

No its not the heading of teh field used in the query but its the text field which automatically had come in , but I found out the way to change it by going into the basic list tab and chaning it there , and it helped me, but there is nother factor in the query which is giving the problem . I have used a coding part in the query to extract the text. What this code dose is that when I enter the text language it runs through teh code and reads text and shows up in the output for that material and when its blank in teh selection for language it shows all the descriprtion . What I want it to do is when i select a language in teh selection screen for which theer is no text avaliable it showuldnt go to teh next screen but on the first screen itself at teh bottom give message as 'No data available or something like it , but right now its going to the output and showing teh text column as blank as no text available , instea like if I put spanish lanaguage in teh selection and since there is no text available in system , it should just give mesg that no data selected or soemting like it.
