How is Batch Input process different from Procession online?

Batch Input session allows you to run in the background and the foreground, but it does everything without user interaction. This is the difference between running BI and doing the transaction manually online.

Batch input has 2 methods....Call Transaction & Session....Here Call Transaction has online/background modes....If u select mode A, u need to process records by user interaction whereas if u select mode N or E it gets updated in background mode without user interaction....

For session, when u run a session is created...going to SM35 this session can be processed in errors mode....
