QE51N - Uploading Characteristic values - which method

Hi all,

I need to upload the characteristic values for a particular Material, Batch, Inspection lot through the transaction QE51N. Can we do the record QE51N and use BDC for uploading the charatersitic values. Which method do we need to use to upload the characteristic values through QE51N. Somone who ever worked with this transaction QE51N please respond. Looking out for some help.

Use the BAPI BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE.

Someone who ever worked with the transaction QE51N, please put some ideas. I am in need of some suggestions.

The other answer is correct. If you don't want to use the BAPI, you can look at standard SAP program RCCLBI03. Classifications, as far as I know cannot be uploaded using batch input.

Additionally, this looks like an EnjoySAP transaction. These aren't well suited to batch input.

You should probably look at OSS note 91757.
