Programatically creating an IMG structure

Dear developers,

I have a requirement of creating IMG structure. Its a big IMG structure consisting of at least 150 nodes and 800 subnodes. These subnodes are tables. one way to create it is by the transaction code SIMGH. But i would like to know if there is any way to create it programatically.

Please do spend some time to solve this problem and let me know about the areas which i should explore to create the IMG structure programatically. Awaiting your valuable suggestions. Thank you.
