Hi, usually symbols starts and ends with "&". However, I have encountered that the symbol only has "&" at the start. How is this possible?

According to this source a closing '&' is always needed at the end of a symbol.

Do the symbols get replaced in your example?

You could build a small report using following FM to perform some tests

  • SET_TEXTSYMBOL
  • REPLACE_TEXTSYMBOL
  • HELP_DOCULINES_SHOW

Also look into table STXH (or within sapscript transactions) to identify the 'creator' of the text
(And show him some online documentation)
