Program ID for RFC destination

Hi All,

Can any one expalin me the program ID while creating RFC destination. Is there need to configure it some where else other than the registration area.

Any help highly appreciated.

Where are you calling the RFC from?....when say program ID what do you mean the RCF on the r3?

I have created RFC destination with below details.

RFC Destination : SRV-SAP

: : Connection Type : T

: : Description : BC

: : (Gateway)

: : Gateway host : SRV-SAP

: : Gateway service : sapgw00

: : (Registration)

: : Program ID : MYLISTENER

: :

: : : : User : John

: : Password : John

: : Client : 810

: : Language : EN

: : Application Server : SRv-SAP

: : System Number : 00

: : Rfc Server : Yes

: : Program ID : MYLISTENER

: : gateway host : SRV-SAP

: : gateway Service : SAPGW00

But i am getting error message below error message

'program MYLISTENER not registered / CPI-C error CM_ALLOCATE_FAILURE_RETRY'.

I dobt program id has to configure some where else.

Hello Raja

Is MYLISTENER the RFC´s name on SAP?....maybe that is what is wrong...

Try it.
