Hi,
We have upgraded our system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 . Prior to upgrade we have created some transports in older development environment. After upgrade has started,we created a parallel Development environment and created some transports. The transports were created in the parallel system with the same number as that of the previous development environment but contains different objects.
After upgrading the old & parallel development systems,we are refreshing the parallel system to the older one. If a transport number say 23 contains a report in the old one,the same number contains a form in the parallel system. So,when we refresh the parallel system to older one,it will affect all the objects for which transports were created.
Most of the transports were moved to production. Can we re-import the transports from production system to development system.
For the transports not moved to any other system, how can we proceed without affecting the existing changes in both the systems when they are refreshing both into one system.
Thanks,
Aparna.

Hi Aparna,
Tranports are unidiectional.i.e From Development -
> Quality----
>Production.
You can't transport back from Quality to Development. It's not possibale at all.
You makes some changes in program it will creat request Number then you can transport it again.
Hope you understand this.

Dear,
This is one of the crucial one in the upgrade. In this situation it is better to replicate delta manually.
For example, Ur New dev is copied on Oct, 18 2008 and u have done ur developments in the old dev till 1-dec-2008. Then u need to replicate all changes between Oct, 18 2008 to 1-dec-2008 manually.
