Problem with Transport request

Hi All,

I have created a program in user A with workbench request 'XXX'.

I have edited that program in user B. so another request is generated.

Now i want to move that program into local object.

But by mistake i have deleted that program.

I am not able to create the program with same name in local object, because it says that it has locked objects.

To unlock it, the program is not there.It is deleted.

What should I do to create the program with same name in user B as local object?

Please help me out.

When second author changes the object that is locked in a request, a new task will be added to the original request.

In your case:

1. Author B to rename his task to Author A

2. Author A to delete the objects assinged under all tasks.

3. Re-Create the program since it was deleted and save it as local object.

Hi,

You can transfer the programm request to local machine by using function module.

archivfile_server_to_client

then copy that request to another client by using function module,

archivfile_client_to_server.

Hi,

If you deleted the program then follow the below steps

Type the Program name in se38 Transaction Screen and go to Utilities menu -> Versions -> Version Management - > Select old active version and Press retrieve button.

Program last active version will be retrieved and it will ask the task and select request / Local object and save the program and activate.

If u deleted the program name in request just go to se38 transaction and save the program again it will ask new request , then save the object in new request / local object.
