BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE

I am working on an upgrade from 4.6 to ecc6.0 , The bapi : BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE is used in a custom program and it is called twice for my case. The bapi does its job the first time , however in the second pass for different voucher id , the bapi fails . The error message is : SE 22 (Entry sheet & does not belong to purchase order & &).

How can I fix this. The program works fine in 4.6

Check for any notes that have been released if this is a normal behaviour in 4.6
