A request was released to Prod.
In D and Q the request is success but in P it shows one error..
so, we tried to create a new request and copy the objects from the old one.
but v r gettiing the objects not below the task(in req) but below the req..
so it is not possible for me to release it.
I also tried to edit the code , but when i saved it it is not asking for a new request. is it bcoz old req is released to P?

Hi Ramesh,
Please check all the dependent REPOSITORY objects have been transported.
like the DATA ELEMENTS DOMAINS TABLES STRUCTURES etc
the error will clearly mention about all these.

Hi,
In production system, it is showing an error in the logs while transporting : Generation of Programs and Screen and return an error code 8. there are no repositary objects to transport. this is just simple code modification. In Quality and Dev system, transportation was done successfully with out causing any problem.
So, we tried to create a new transport request by editing the code in development.however it is not asking for the new transport request number while saving or activating.
Also, we tried to create a new TR manually using SE09 and placing the modified objects under the task. but, transport request and task number are getting created at a time and while assigning the objects, the objects are under the request not under the task.the objects should be under the task only.
this is the problem what exactly we are getting. Please clarify..

Ramesh,
Seems some of the ztables which you would have designed is not included in the request.Check how the request got moved to Quality successfully.Do you have all the objects related to this program under the same request or different requests. If different requests then check whether they too got moved to Production or not.
And most important is the sequence in which the requests got moved to Production. If there are two requests ie a request is just having the program(using ztable) but the other request is having the ztable then if you move the request having the program alone first then it will end up with errors because the ztable is not yet transported. So,first you need to move the request with the ztable and then the one with the Program.
You will be able to create a new request for a program if and only if the earlier request got released/moved otherwise not.

What is the error in prod??.
If u have used some Z objects in ur coding make sure that it is in production or it is in ur TP.

Ramesh,
If a request got moved to Quality successfully but ended with errors in production then it mean some of the objects tagged to that request are missing in Production.Just dropdown the request and check whether each and every object under that request are there in production too.May be as said in one of the replies if you have created any ztables, zdataelements,or fun modules etc.
