Dear all,

I used BAPI

I have in following chars in:

     EXEMPLE          FR #à°€
How to remove this special chars (#à°€)? Moreover the offset is some times different (if spaces or letter).

LV_STRING+220(30) = EXEMPLE       (OK)

LV_STRING+220(30) =      EXEMPLE          FR #à°€       (KO)

I don't understand the difference...

Thanks for your help.

David

Hi David,

This may be due to the "Carriage Return" in your string.

You can use SPLIT command at CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>CR_LF. to get of rid of that.

Check for more type of character attaributes for the above mentioned class .

Hi

Probably it's the character for the end of a record, try to use

CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>CR_LF
