Deal All,
I have cerated SAP query by SQVI.
Now I want To assign Tcode for this query and transfer it to production.
I know i can see the report name generated by SQVI and assign tcode to that report name.
But problem is that how to transport that to production bcoz that query is not available in production.

Hi,
ABAP Queries can be transported to different clients by the following two ways:
1) By using the standard program u2018RSAQR3TRu2019
2) By using the transport option available on the application bar in Transactions SQ02 or SQ03.
On the next screen, all the options come up for transporting the queries. The transport action is performed based on the radio button selected on the screen.
The queries can either be downloaded from one client to the application server or local machine then the same file can be uploaded in the desired system for usage in that system.
Or it can be exported from one client by selecting the u2018Exportu2019 radio button by creating a transport and then imported in the desired system by using the same transport number.
The transports are to be made in the following order:
1. User Group transport
2. Infoset transport
3. Infoset and Query transport
4. Queries transport
Hope this helps you
Regards
Shiva

Hi,
Yes you can assign T-code for SAP Query,
1. First you select your SAP query in SQVI and press execute button.
2. Goto Status Bar and copy program name.
3. Got se93 give the tcode and paste name of sap query.

Sanket,
Copy the program as a zprogram and attach this to a tcode. this will save you the worries about infosets, user groups, etc associated with SAP queries.
Please note that your program name of the report you created is not what is attached to the new tcode. You will have to go to the menu bar and find 'display report name' to get some strange character string, ie, AQZZZZP=========FIxx_HB=====. This is the program name that must be attached to the new tcode; or optionally copied to a new program name that you can understand and add this to the new tcode via transaction code SE93.
